The "Ashraya Exclusive" from NyuConcepts

Raising money for charity in any shape of form is a passion of mine. Having worked with deprived children in Central Africa in RL, I know how much of a difference charities make to the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of children.

When Anna Sapphire announced the Ashraya Project, I was keen to go and contribute, OK, OK  I went shopping :)

When I was wandering, this dress, the "Ashraya Exclusive" from NyuConcepts leapt on me and wouldn't let me go till I bought it.

Its been said of me I have lots of will-power but absolutely no won't-power - OK, guilty as charged I suppose, but how can you resist this? A beautiful mesh creation, delicate pink fading from the hem to purest white on the bodice. A single-sided collar is also subtly shaded with pink fading to white, so it really is a single-shoulder type of dress. The fabric is closely-fitted with great detailing with shadows and folds, I just love the whole thing, very me :)

The dress comes in the normal 5 standard mesh sizes with an alpha layer to cover any naughty bits that should not show up. It's for a great cause, so go track one down:)

Lovely new mesh dresses from Nyu

Having got a definite taste for mesh now, I had a wander the other day and came across Nyu's mainstore. Of course, being me, I had to be nosey and have a look. Oh boy, does she have some cute things in there.

The first I'll have a look at is a mesh tube dress called "Debut", I bought one of them in a coral shade. It's a bold pattern, the colour framed by twin black stripes.Its beautifully detailed, folds and creases show up very nicely on the front. The dress comes in 5 sizes along with an alpha to hide any sticky-out bits. Once I'd tweaked my shape a little, it fitted to perfection, so I'll be going back for more later:)

"Marlene" and "Charly" from J.H. Couture

Wow, have I been a busy girl today? Think I've actually got this blogging thing almost sorted. A new release from J.H. Couture is the delight for the present moment, the "Marlene" pants and the "Charly" sweater. I chose them both in the aqua shade.

Seeing as summer is almost upon us (YAY), there are just the thing for a casual day shopping, at the beach or just out with friends. An all-new mesh set, the Marlene pants are not quite capris and not quite full length, more a kind if a 7/8 ths really, which is what Jada has called them.Lovely detail as always from the shading and shadows to the stitching, these versatile pants come in 10 different colours.

The Charley sweater is really cute to look at, long-sleeved, but with a boat-type neck. The sleeves are quite loose, but are caught at the wrists by a tighter cuff. The alternating stripes of aqua and white give it a casual, but at the same time, elegant look. There are alphas for both the top and the pants and the top again comes in 10 different colours. One for the summer I think :)

New from Xanadu - "Glitz red"

OK, OK I know.......................I like Xanadu's things, can you blame me really? And yes, I went shopping again lately, seems to be all I have been doing, that and styling what seems to be a never-ending list, but hey, it's fun.

This new collection from Xanadu Damiano, the "Glitz Red" immediately suggested red carpets, bright lights, OK Hollywood. So glamorous, sexy and strangely demure at the same time.

Now, doesn't that make you look like a silver screen starlet :) The skirt is plain black, knee length and quite tight fitting, but its the top that gives it away. A body-hugging single-shoulder top encrusted with red shining sequins leads into a puffy left sleeve made from lacy chiffon with red sequins again sure to catch the light. To complete this gorgeous outfit, a matching mesh clutch is included made from material that perfectly matches the glamorous top. Lovely for a night out, a night in or maybe something racier.

Elegance from coldLogic

As many people know, coldLogic make (in my opinion anyway) some of the best mesh there is on the grid. Having a wander yesterday, i was actually looking for things for another styling, but I went into the store anyway. I found this newer summer dress, the "Gish"dress in blue and yellow.

I really love the style of the designer coldLogic, simple but classic timeless styles. A halter-style shortish dress that does cling very nicely. The dress itself comes in all of the standard mesh sizes and comes complete with a well-fitted alpha. The mesh belt in yellow provides a splash of colour and again comes in all the standard sizes. I chose the blue/yellow, but there are a variety of colours to choose form in the store.

Spring in Paris with Purple Moon and JH Couture

Ahhh to be in Paris, now that Spring is here. can't remember who said that, but it's one of those things that can be called a "true-ism"!!  Jada Humby very kindly sent me these lovely pencil skirts so, of course being me, I had to go find a top or a blouse that would suit. So, off to Purple Moon it was and, as if by magic, I found myself lead to just the right place where I saw this perfect top.

The skirt, again from J.H. Couture, is the "Demi" mesh, I'm wearing the Creme shade. I love the way these fit, possibly the best-fitting pencil skirt I have seen as yet. The texturing and detail is lovely and the skirt itself comes supplied in a wide range of sizes and is available in a wide range of colours.

The blouse is one I hadn;t seen before, the "Tess" shirt from Purple Moon. I picked out the burgundy shade, cos I love the colour and I had matching shoes already! Its a long-sleeved, delicate top with cuffs at the wrists and a lovely frill around the neckline. As you'd expect from Purple Moon, everything is fitted to perfection and so so pretty.

I also picked up a bag from Purple Moon I had not seen before, the mesh "Monogram" handbag, here shown in Mink.It comes either posed or unposed and can be worn on the forearm or hand. The colour and textures look quite amazing and this bag finished off this outfit perfectly.

Looks like Summer may be almost here !!!!

I'll make no bones about it, I HATE the cold.So imagine my happiness when the warm arrives and I can slam the door shut on all my winter clothes for a while.

I want to share 2 lovely summer dresses I came across. Both of them are designed by Jada Humby of J.H. Couture.

This pretty and floaty dress is the "Ruby" mesh summer dress. It had a clingy vest-like top part and a lovely soft and floaty skirt. It's well fitted as are all of Jada's designs, complete with multiple alpha layers to provide that perfect look. It comes in a wide variety of colours and sizes, this is the coral shade I am showing here. Pretty isn't it and perfect for lounging around in the sun or hanging out with friends.

The second look for today is the charming "Kira" mesh tube dress. This is cut from either blue or black denim, with a button fastening at the back and two small pockets on the front of the skirt.

It is quite short as you can see, gives you a chance to show off your legs !!It fits very well, comes with different alphas and sizes, what I love about it is the details that Jada has built into the dress.The stitching of the pockets for example, the detail of the hems its just so well put together.

"Malika" from JH Couture

I'm having one of those days. Things keep leaping out of my inventory screaming "blog me, blog me"! Well, for once, I have a quiet day so I did.

The Malika tube dress from JH Couture caught my eye today. I picked up this lush, earthen brown dress just from the look of the image on the vendor. As always, its of the highest quality, fits well and comes in all the standard sizes (XXS - L). The texturing is wonderful, I really liked the folds effect on the front, gives it a very real look.It comes with a non-rigged belt that might need stretching depending on your shape, there's an HUD included just for this. I can well see me spending waaaaaaaaaay too much money at this store :)

"Nadine" from JH Couture

As anyone who reads my blog knows, I am a huge fan of Jada Humby and her brand, JH Couture. I popped over to her store the other day and saw this new dress. Named "Nadine" it's a classy looking sheath type dress that ends just above the knee. There's lovely detailing around the bustline and the straps criss-cross behind the neck. As its a mesh dress, fit is important and Jada doesn;t disappoint, the fit is excellent. The dress comes with its own alpha and it supplied in the 5 standard sizes, from XXS to L.

Its definitely classy enough to wear to a party or a dinner, but also versatile as an every day dress for those of us who like always to look elegant !

Elegance from Xanadu

Had a bit of a wander this morning and ended up over at Xanadu Damianio's place. She has some lovely new designs out on display, but this little cocktail dress really caught the eye. The Paris cocktail dress I chose in Mint.

It fits like a glove and the threads in it really catch the light quite beautifully. The skirt is worn on a bias to give a very flattering silhouette. She has a load of different colours, so pop in when you get a chance, this is just gorgeous.
