More casualness

So, after I found a really soft casual look, I fancied going for a t-shirt and mini skirt look, so I did:) Doesn;t it look great for a spring walk in the woods? Smell the air, feel the life coming alive again?

I again chose the beautiful "Noelle" skirt from J.H. Couture, but this time paired it with a blue and white tube top. This is the top named "Maui", all mesh again and I love these, again from J.H. Coutute. They are fitted well, the alpha works perfectly and with their detail they are a dream to photograph and wear. Pop over to J.H. Couture and have a look, she has some lovely things to add to your spring wardrobe:)

Casual with J.H. Couture

Well, casual is today's theme for me I think. After finding J.H. Couture had causal lines, I decided to go for a really laid-back look with this outfit.

So, I paired the lovely denim mesh miniskirt "Noelle" with the tube top "Maui". Over this I chose the baggy mesh cardigan Josi". All these are from J.H. Couture and their extensive lines of mesh casuals.

As I've come to expect from this designer, their fit is flawless, their textures immaculate and the overall look is just about perfect. OK, I was impressed :) The T-shirt is actually from Armidi, lovely place as well and its called the "Twiggy Adored" in Mellow Yellow!

I've long been a customer of Nardcotix shoes, so to complete the look, I chose their "Rebekah" pumps in yellow 'cos I like them :)

Sunshine AT LAST :)

After what seemed like days and days of rain, today the sun is actually actually shining. Still damned cold, but then, I ma a warm weather girl. So, inspired by a twinkle of sun, I had a look through the black hole I call my inventory and saw a few things I could make a fresh look with.

I bought these Maitreya jeans a while ago and am still so impressed with the details and the fit. They are supplied in the standard sizes with an alpha layer of course, but the fit is quite superb.

I found this lovely blouse over at the Xanadu store. The "Baggy Blouse in Pink" caught my eye to add to this outfit. Again its a mesh item, supplied with a well-fitted alpha and a couple of different sizes. I just love the casual look it gives, but also very chic and (if these is such a word) Springy. The details again caught my eye, the folds and shadows catch the light so well.

I chose a new hair from Exile to go with this called "Unwritten Lyrics" I chose the light blonde. It had the long style that I prefer, swept back over one shoulder. Again, the texture work is quite superb. The shoes, well they were easy, a favourite pair of mine, the D'Ann pumps from Hucci here in Wild Pink.

I've mentioned Zuri Rayna's things before, I still think she makes some of the best jewellry out there. To keep it simple, but elegant, I chose to accessorise with her lovely "Princess Diamonds" collection. The pose of from Avante (thanks Trinity!!!!). Wonder what else there is in my hole of an inventory I have never used. Probably piles and piles so stay tuned :)

So so chic....................................

I met the charming Xanadu Damiano at a contest recently. I hadn;t been to her place in a while (bad bad Kim), so I popped over today and laid eyes on 2 outfits that just leapt into my bag and paid for themselves without me even realising.

This gorgeous spring outfit is known as "Spring Chic in Cream Blossoms". A light sprig knee-length dress is matched with an ethereal gauzy poncho, emblazoned with a bow in the right top corner. It creates such a light and airy look that's just so elegant. The matching clutch is included with the outfit. The dress, poncho and clutch are made totally of mesh and fit wonderfully well. The textures of small creamy flowers blend so well and this really does remind you of a sunny day when the trees are blooming.

To compliment this lovely ensemble, I went for the sleek "Rhythm" updo form one of my favourite hair stores, Elikatira. The shoes are the "Coquette White" from NCore and could have been made for this outfit and the hose if from DCG designs. Looks like I'll be knocking on Xanadu's door a lot more often from now on.

"Premiere" from Adam Edelstein

I was fortunate enough to be selected for the finals of Miss Virtual Portugal recently, so I needed an absolute killer of a gown for the formals section. After much running around, a friend showed me a store I had not been to before, Adam Edelstein Couture. At first, I thought it was all mens' suits (and awesome ones at that), then I laid eyes on this !!!!!!!!!

This is a spectacular gown called "Premiere", I chose the emerald colour after much agonising.

It's daring cutaway top fits like a second skin, moulding to my curves so perfectly. There is a feathery applique at the bustline that is just charming. The skirt is long, full with a long train and is cut so as to flow elegantly when you walk. The details in the entire gown have to be seen to be believed. The gown simply sparkles in any light level, flowing sensuously along. The jewelled opera length gloves are a lovely touch and add a real classy finish.

This was just so perfect for my final, I felt like a queen wearing this. Thanks to Adam Edelstein for making what (in my humble opinion) is a masterpiece.

Here's the SLURL, go take a look for yourself, he has other equally spectacular gowns.

Springy with Gizza

I've always been a sucker for spring, washes all the depression of winter away.Coming from where I do, even winter is normally sunny, but having spent the winter under cloud and rain (not to mention snow), I needed some colour and warmth to blow the blues away.

Giz Seorn has such a sense of style and elegance it seemed a great place to look to style a spring outfit. After stopping at her place, I found this gorgeous blouse and skirt that cheered me up just to look at them.

A delicate chiffon blouse with puffy sleeves and a lacy neckline in the bright spring colours I love. The skirt is a mesh knee-length pencil skirt that I felt was made for this top. Everything fits like a glove straight from the box and only minimum editing was needed (well, for my shape anyway). I didn't add a lot to this, just a clutch, simple court shoes and some basic jewellery, it's pretty enough on its own :)

Styling:-

Blouse - Chiffon Shirt Red Roses - GizzA
Skirt - Mesh Cotton Pencil Skirt Grey - GizzA
Shoes - Coquette Dark Red - NCore
Hair - Abbey Mesh - Warm Blonde 10 - Elikatira
Necklace - Plain Gold - Face Paint
Makeup - Kim #1 - Face Paint
Clutch - Stella Charcoal - Orta

Sexiness from *BOOM*

Like I said in the previous post, I adore dresses. I'm not really a pants type of girl off the runway, so I look for stylish dresses everywhere I can. This sexy little number I found at a store I had never been to before, called *BOOM*. I know many of you will know *BOOM* well, but I quite literally stumbled onto it. Think my teleport messed up or somesuch SL weirdness. But, there I was, so why not have a look. OH MY GOD......I could adopt this store.

In the entranceway were the new releases, of which this dress was one of them. Its called the Hye Tube dress (for fairly obvious reasons). I was just grabbed by the shape, style and, most of all, the amazing textures that had been worked into this. After a lot of hand-wringing, I chose the Hye dress in a subtle shade of almond.

How lovely does this dress look? Stylish, cut to perfection, clinging almost sinfully to your curves. It also does the impossible, makes me look like I actually have boobs, rather than two fried eggs on a plate. I just adore the inset front panel which is matched at the back. The dress comes in a wide variety of colours to suit anyone. Think I might go back and get a few more colours...........shhhhhhhhhhh.

New from J.H. Couture

See, I do actually blog when I can raise myself to do it. I've found some time for a wander this week and found some gorgeous, fresh spring dresses. OK, some will scream old-fashioned, but when you look at what designers do with the dress these days, I'm not entirely sure I agree with you.

J.H.Couture has been a long-time favourite of mine, elegant, innovative and (above all of course) well-fitting. This new dress for spring, the Victoria dress, I chose in a lovely fresh raspberry colour.

Spring is my favourite time of year. Coming from where I do, summer is scorchingly hot, winter is cold and wet, so spring is my lovely time. I like to dress in a feminine, soft style at this time of year and this dress fitted that wish perfectly. It's quite close fitting with a classic V neckline, short sleeves and belted at the waist. The skirt is just about knee-length and I was so impressed with the fit and the whole overall look. The textures are just amazing and it was a dream to photograph. I also found these lovely classic Onyx pumps from Chain and Vine so I decided to style with these. Jewellry was an easy choice - Zuri Rayna's Sparkle Sky collection, with lustrous rubies and pearly pieces of onyx. The hair was a new one from Elikatira, again one of my favourite stores being a blonde :) This style is called "Paper" and I wore the shade 10 of light blondes. The makeup wasn't so easy to choose, but I plumped for the striking "Barbie #3" from Face Paint. Soft, yet striking enough.

Lovely dress isn;t it :)

ColdLogic Mesh Frenzy

Well, they say Spring is time for mad hares and other silliness. I'm not immune and I stumbled across the coldLogic store when out and about. I ADORE their mesh, its detailed, not expensive and more vitally it actually fits right.

The first thing I bought was this gorgeous jumpsuit. I don;t wear much white as it washes me out too much, but I couldn't resist the look of this one.

I matched it up with some gorgeous new mesh hair from Wasabi Pills, the Nicole hair in Rye.

After I bought this, things leapt out from the walls at me screaming "you need me". OK, I broke, I did need them :)

This minidress really caught my eye. The Vergara Linen is just perfect for this time of year, it's elegant and fun all at the same time. The fit is perfect and it looks so so good.

I photographed these in the little village of LaPerla, a fabulous little seaside village that's Italian to its' shoelaces.

As if that wasn't enough for my poor purse, I wanted a top and some pants. Guess what? Yep, these leapt on me and wouldn't let me go till I bought them.

The top is the Kimura Pink, its a cute loose top that's again all mesh. The Mazza pants (I bought the smoke shade) go together with the top perfectly. I shot these on the Fotoscape sim, a photographers dream.
