New Wild Fox mainstore

If you've never heard of Wild Fox, you are really missing out. Its a store run by a good friend, Janina Foxdale and she has recently moved her main store to my sim.

She makes unique custom jewellery, sculpts, buildings, you name it she does it. She is a master builder and sculpter, so if you need that unique piece you just can't find, drop her an IM, I'm certain she can help.

I went over to the Retro Fair a few days ago with Sofia and came across this divine dress by Icing. I have a weakness for 1940s styles, so simple, timeless and yet so elegant. I couldn't resist sharing this one :)

“Manhattan Fashion Show is a Models Workshop concept”.

Models Workshop is an organization that engenders a loving spirit towards new members of the SecondLife fashion industry — free of charge. Models Workshop holds weekly live meetings with expert guest speakers in all avenues of the fashion industry both SL and RL.

The aim of shows produced by Model’s Workshop is to give members the opportunity to gain experience they would otherwise find difficult to get. The Manhattan Fashion Show is staffed both on and off the runway from people relatively new to their roles in this show.. The only payment people get is the opportunity to gain experience.

We hope you will come and see how empowering new talent will bring out the very best in them for the first time.

Alexandra Gown from Styles by the Gotters

The Alexandra gown is a favourite of mine with the fur trim and elegant full skirt. Its revealing and concealing at the same time, a bit if a tease really !!! Check out Eddie and Sofia's place, some lovely things there.

Blogging stuff.............you'd think it wouldn't take too long? Well, I've been so busy lately, it kinda didn't get done, But, I do have a few styles to share, things I found and so on :)

The first one was a dress I saw at the Retro fair. It reminded me of the 1940s screen starlets, so I styled it in that fashion. Its so good to look at and wear as well :) I felt a bit like Marilyn for a while /

Lovely Autumn Colours from Alloro

I found this store while having a wander.Alloro Designs is run by a charming lady called Laurel Carlucci. I was tempted by many of her things, but I bought these as I love the colours of autumn  and her simple and elegant style. This warm, yet simple outfit is called Giselle, I chose it in Coffee. It comes complete with a pants or a skirt option, either look absolutely wonderful. I chose the pants as I don;t often wear pants and I liked these ! All I added was a scarf, shoes  and a bag and away I went.

I treated myself to a CWS pro system. Now, I'm not stupid (PhD scientist in RL), but could I work out how this damned thing works? Yes, after threatening it with a severe reprogramming with a 4kg lumphammer.

Having splashed out on a load of gorgeous Baiastice things, I had a play with styling them and then saw if I could compose a decent photograph of it.Well, you be the judge of whether its decent or not!!

Fairy Blue Gown by Taralyn Melodie

I saw an advert last night from a new designer who needed a model for a photo shoot. I wasn't busy and thought it would be a good opportunity, so I sent a card. Imagine my surprise when this lovely gown came back for me to style!!!

Its designed by a new designer, Taralyn Melodie, so I was delighted to help her. Its very floaty and elegant, right up my street and I adored the colour too. She is one to look out for ladies !!

The Goddess of Spring by Engel Orchid

I was lucky enough to be involved in one of Cleopatra Xigalia's shows and I was asked to wear this gorgeous outfit, inspired by the Greek Goddesses of old. Its creator, Engel Orchid, has done such an awesome job on this, I almost fainted when I saw how it looked.

As I have a spring colouring, it was perfect for me to show off how talented she is and such style too. She has a couple of stores, one is linked to this post. She may well be making other outfits and colours, check them out when you get a chance

My First Casting

Everyone has to start somewhere. Being newly graduated from Miss Virtual World, I began to look for small store jobs and stores to get some experience. I went in for a casting for Evolve models and met the lovely Annie Zorric. I was as nervous as a kitten, but she guided me through and I actually got a second interview with the designer, Reign Congrejo.

I met Reign last night, charming lady who makes the most GORGEOUS clothes!!! She must have liked me !!

Anyway, say hello to EVOLVE's newest model, me!! Surprised? ---- I was but delighted to prove to myself that I did have what it takes.

It begins!!

Well, my first fashion blog had to start somewhere and this is as good as anywhere. Thanks to Aradia, Eliza and Sofia, I took the plunge finally and got on with it. I hope some things I find around SL will please and sometimes surprise you, I have a weird eye!
